Job Description: Installation, operation, and routine maintenance of personal computing equipment (hardware and software) for employees and students in classrooms at the Open University of Israel (OUI) and its branches throughout the country: proactive replacement, upgrades as needed, semester preparation, and more.

Reporting to: Manager of the Technical Section

• At least three years of experience as a PC and networks technician.
• Experience working in large organizations.
• Proven knowledge in handling and maintaining PC computers, printers, and peripheral equipment.
• Extensive knowledge in hardware and software, in the following areas:
• Win 2016 Server
• Proficiency in Windows 11 operating systems.
• Full proficiency in operating 365 Office applications.
• Knowledge and experience in building images (Sysprep).
• GPO and Active Directory management.
• Full proficiency in endpoint management systems:
• Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Microsoft Intune - advantage.
• Knowledge and experience with antivirus software at the server level and client level - advantage.
• Certifications - MCSE, MCITP - advantage.
• High technological and learning abilities.
• High service consciousness, politeness and patience, excellent interpersonal skills.
• Initiative and creativity, and the ability to work in a team and share information.
• Ability to function under pressure.
• Good level of English.

• The role includes on-call shifts and flexible working hours according to the needs of the Computing Administration.
• Ability for physical work.
