Ashtrom Renewable Energy is recruiting a Project Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the engineering processes in the project starting from the initiation and development stage, continuing through the execution stage up to operation as part of the project management team
• Engineering management in feasibility studies, engineering schedule integrated into the project schedule, responsibility and leading of engineering processes until receiving the engineering deliverables in the project
• Integration and advancement of design across various disciplines according to project stages, including managing an external consultants team and internal resources. All projects are funded and experience working with a technical advisor of the lenders is required
• Identification and analysis of risk levels and professional support in commercial decision-making processes with an emphasis on due diligence processes in the early development stages
• Familiarity with energy production simulations and detailed analysis of production (PV) and storage systems
• Management of high voltage and extra-high voltage power system design, including active participation in discussions with the system operator and electric companies in Israel and abroad
• Management and leading of routine work processes with external planning and regulatory bodies, including supporting project development in planning and building committees, government offices, and various regulatory bodies

What is important for you to have?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preference for Electrical Engineering) - Mandatory
• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer - Mandatory
• Experience in the design and establishment of funded energy production and storage facilities
• Experience in the design of extra-high voltage facilities - Advantage
• Experience in managing and advancing complex design processes
• High level of English (speaking, writing, and reading) - Mandatory
• Experience working with CAD systems (Mandatory), PVsyst (Mandatory)
