Assistant Manager - Quality Assurance

Your tasks

• Responsible for the chemical quality control of cosmetic in-process products (Bulk) (laboratory testing), as well as coordinating with various departments both internally and externally to ensure efficient operations.

• Responsible for the quality control and inspection of all raw materials in the Cosmetic Plant and Soap Plant to be used in production, ensuring they meet specified quality standards.
• Responsible for analysis and quality inspection according to the ISO/IEC 17025 system in all technical aspects to develop and maintain a quality system that meets customer requirements.
• Responsible for the analysis part using scientific instruments and chemical quality control of raw materials and products.
• Manage the control and management of chemicals in the laboratory to ensure safety for current and new chemical used in the laboratory.
• Provide in-depth chemical advice in case of problems regarding Incoming RM and Alternative source RM to ensure RM availability in time for production for both current products and new products.
• Act as an Authorized Signatory on behalf of the QA Manager when necessary, such as for FG COA.
• Propose skill development plans for team members and manage the analytical capabilities of employees.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemistry, or other related fields.
2. Possess specific technical knowledge related to the quality inspection of raw materials and cosmetic in-process products (Bulk) (laboratory).
3. Ability to analyze and organize work systems well.
4. Ability to use scientific instruments.
5. Good ability in reading and writing English.
6. High attention to detail and good interpersonal skills.
