Responsibilities:

Responsible for the technological development and uninterrupted operation of the product. His duties include:

  • Development and implementation of the IT strategy for the mobile application, taking into account the company's business goals
  • Managing the application lifecycle: from architecture design to support and updates

  • Managing the release cycle: sprint planning, release windows, A/B tests
  • Ensuring information security: user data protection, compliance with GDPR/152-FZ, pentests, vulnerability remediation
  • Integration with backend services and third-party APIs (payments, analytics, push notifications, etc.)
  • Implementation and support of analytics systems (Firebase, AppMetrica, Mixpanel) to track metrics: DAU/WAU, Retention, CR, LTV
  • Optimizing user experience (UX) based on analytics data and feedback
  • Controlling the IT department budget: planning costs for infrastructure, licenses, outsource
  • Monitoring mobile development trends and implementing promising technologies (AI/ML, AR, cross-platform solutions)
  • Preparing technical documentation and reports for management
  • Interacting with other departments: product, marketing, support to align technical requirements and decisions

Requirements:

Education: higher technical (information technology, programming, applied mathematics).

Work experience: from 5 years in IT, of which at least 3 years in a leadership position (Team Lead, Tech Lead, CTO, or IT Director).

Technical background:

  • understanding of mobile application architecture (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture)
  • experience working with iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) platforms
  • knowledge of cross-platform frameworks (React Native, Flutter) is an advantage
  • experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • skills working with databases (SQL, NoSQL)
  • understanding of DevOps principles (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines)
  • experience working with Agile/Scrum/Kanban, Jira, Confluence, GitLab

Leadership qualities: ability to motivate the team, delegate tasks, resolve conflicts

Analytical thinking: ability to analyze data, identify problems, and propose solutions

Communication: clear presentation of technical ideas to non-technical specialists

English language: Upper-Intermediate and above for reading documentation and negotiating with vendors

Knowledge of regulatory framework: basics of data protection (GDPR, 152-FZ), license agreements
