Senior Finance Business Partner – FP&A & Strategic Analysis – Waver Region

As a Senior Finance Business Partner, you support financial and commercial decision-making within the Southwest Europe region. You act as the right hand to the regional Finance Director and translate complex financial analyses into clear recommendations for management.

Your responsibilities:

• Supporting the Finance Director for the Southwest Europe region.
• Structuring financial and strategic priorities.
• Preparing analyses and decision documents for regional management.
• Translating financial insights into concrete business recommendations.
• Preparing financial reporting for the Executive Management and the board of directors.
• Collaborating with financial and operational stakeholders in various European markets.
• Improving and standardizing regional financial processes.
• Optimizing budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitoring and analyzing financial performance throughout the year.
• Supporting strategic financial planning and follow-ups.
• Performing scenario analyses and market analyses.
• Developing and critically reviewing business cases and investment proposals.
• Evaluating commercial opportunities and improvement initiatives.
• Performing in-depth profitability and performance analyses.
• Analyzing sales results and market potential.
• Providing financial support for regional and cross-departmental projects.
• Connecting regional financial priorities with local commercial needs.
• Collaborating closely with the headquarters in Paris and financial teams in Europe.
• Master's degree in Finance, Business Sciences, Economics, or a similar field.
• At least five to seven years of relevant financial experience.
• Experience within finance business partnering, FP&A, commercial finance, strategy finance, or consultancy.
• Experience within a complex organization operating in different countries or markets.
• Thorough experience with forecasting, planning, and performance management.
• Experience with strategic financial processes and decision-making.
• Ability to translate financial analyses into clear recommendations.
• Experience preparing presentations for senior management and boards of directors.
• Experience with business cases, investment proposals, and financial scenario analyses.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP, Anaplan, Power BI, or similar applications is an advantage.
• Very good professional knowledge of English and French.
• Knowledge of Dutch or other languages is an advantage.
• Strongly analytical, structured, curious, and proactive.
• Strong communicator and able to build trust with senior stakeholders.
• Confident enough to challenge decisions and results in a constructive manner.
• Able to connect local details with regional and strategic priorities.
