General & Tax Accountant - Aerospace & High‑Tech Engineering

As a General & Tax Accountant within a leading international aerospace group, you are responsible for the general accounting, tax obligations, and the reliability of financial data. You will work in a high-tech environment where innovation, safety, and quality are central.

Your main tasks:

• A‑Z general accounting: daily transactions, banks, accruals, intercompany.
• Performing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings.
• Preparing financial statements according to BEGAAP.
• Managing VAT returns and supporting corporate income tax (ISOC).
• Analyzing, following up, and justifying general ledger accounts.
• Managing fixed assets and depreciation.
• Contributing to internal controls and process improvements.
• Supporting internal and external audits.

Quality & compliance:

• Compliance with EN9100 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environment).
• Performing self-checks to guarantee quality.
• Knowledge transfer to new team members.
• Respecting safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Reporting risks and applying procedures.
• Bachelor or master in Accounting, Finance or similar.
• 2-5 years of experience in general accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of BEGAAP, VAT, ISOC, and ERP systems (SAP).
• Analytical, accurate, autonomous, and reliable.
• Strong Excel skills and structured reporting.
• French required; professional knowledge of English; Dutch is a plus.
