Business Controller – Plant Control, Operations & Process Optimization – Bocholt Region

As a Business Controller, you will become the financial business partner for three production sites in Belgium and the Netherlands. You will combine hands-on plant controlling with strategic improvement projects within an international production environment.

You translate financial and operational data into concrete actions and help the factories continuously improve their costs, efficiency, and performance.

Your responsibilities:

• Acting as a financial sparring partner for plant management.
• Analyzing and improving operational KPIs.
• Monitoring productivity, efficiency, yield, and production costs.
• Monitoring and optimizing standard costs and margins.
• Performing variance analyses regarding volume, mix, price, and efficiency.
• Detecting and explaining deviations in operational results.
• Translating financial analyses into concrete improvement actions.
• Supporting and critically evaluating investment proposals and business cases.
• Monitoring and analyzing CapEx investments.
• Contributing to ERP implementations and IT transformation projects.
• Stimulating process improvement and standardization within Operations.
• Participating in international and group-wide improvement initiatives.
• Collaborating intensively with Operations, Finance, and the central Operations Control team.
• You hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Business Economics, or a similar field.
• You have relevant experience within a production or operations environment.
• You have an affinity with plant controlling, cost calculation, and operational analyses.
• You possess strong analytical skills.
• You can translate financial data into clear insights and concrete actions.
• You combine a proactive attitude with a hands-on mentality.
• You dare to challenge management and think critically.
• You have an interest in or experience with ERP systems and IT transformations.
• You think in processes and actively seek efficiency improvements.
• You feel comfortable within an international working environment.
