FINOVESTA GmbH is a successful and growing securities institution. Our core business lies in proprietary trading with securities and derivatives. FINOVESTA holds its own memberships at national and international exchanges and is connected to additional markets via brokers. We conduct transactions exclusively in our own name and for our own account.

As a result, we work directly at the heart of national and international capital markets. Such an environment exists in Germany at only a few companies. To strengthen our Marktfolge department, we are looking for you at our location in Hilden.

As a Specialist Wertpapierabwicklung & Trade Support, you will work directly at the interface between exchange trading and settlement. You will experience firsthand how exchanges, brokers, clearing, and settlement interact and will develop in a specialized environment that only a few employers in Germany can offer in this form.

Your Tasks

• Management and monitoring of timely securities settlement, including delivery management and clarification of settlement fails
• Reconciliation of our trading, position, and settlement data with brokers and clearers, as well as analysis and clarification of occurring discrepancies
• Processing of post-trade issues, particularly matching, settlement instructions, corporate actions, buy-ins, and settlement penalties
• Creation and control of internal and external evaluations and reports
• Further development and optimization of our processes and applications in the post-trade area
• Identification and implementation of opportunities for the automation of controls, reconciliations, and evaluations

Our Requirements

• You have successfully completed training as a Bankkaufmann, Investmentfondskaufmann, or a comparable training, or possess a degree in economics or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, you already have professional experience in securities settlement, settlement, trade support, or a comparable area. We are also happy to give a chance to particularly qualified and committed career starters
• You have a strong interest in the securities and capital market business, think analytically, and have a quick grasp of new concepts
• You have very good Excel skills and can confidently analyze and prepare large amounts of data. Pivot tables, lookup functions, and logical formulas should be familiar to you
• You have good written and spoken English skills
• You work very precisely, in a structured and independent manner, and maintain an overview even with time-critical issues
• You are ambitious, like to take on responsibility, and want to develop both professionally and personally
