Global Manager Strategic Sourcing

For this assignment, we are looking for you with at least 5 years of experience in strategic procurement. You have worked in an international industry with own production and extensive product flows. Fundamentally, you have a post-secondary education focusing on economics, logistics, and supplier assessment. Technical knowledge is meritorious. From previous assignments, you have developed your ability to operate in business contexts and in an international context. You have experience of strategic work within the field and also developed experience in leading a team with own personnel responsibility. Our corporate language is English and you are proficient in English, both spoken and written. To succeed in this assignment, we believe that as a person you should be self-assured, skilled at building relationships, and able to inspire people. You are well-anchored within your area of expertise and, with that as a foundation, you have the ability to visualize and create motivation for a common goal. For the assignment, it is also required that you are analytically minded. As Global Manager Strategic Sourcing, you are responsible for ensuring and further developing our strategy and our working methods for Sourcing within Ymer Group with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery precision. Together with your team, you are responsible for visualizing and implementing the plan for Sourcing. In your role as globally responsible, you are expected to work out in the business to coach, support, and develop our organization.

Close collaboration with our business areas, departments for technology, quality, and project management is crucial to achieving results. Examples of tasks may include:

• Developing and implementing strategy
• Optimizing procurement costs for the group
• Ongoing contact with our suppliers in Europe, USA, China, and México
• Ensuring that the right relationship is developed with our suppliers
• Developing working methods and methodology within your team and collaborations with other parts of the company

Global Manager Strategic Sourcing currently has personnel responsibility for four people located in Stockholm and Ljungby. Together with your team, you will further develop our toolbox within the area. You report to Chief Procurement Officer and are part of the Procurement management group. The place of work can be Stockholm or Ljungby. You are expected to travel in your assignment. Ymer Technology AB is a fast-growing global industrial group that started in 2005.
