We are looking for
Senior Accountant, Flight Sales Accounting
to join our Order to Cash team in Finnair Business Services, Tartu, Estonia.
In this role, you will combine hands-on accounting work with team coordination and process development, helping us deliver high-quality accounting services accurately and on schedule.
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the team's daily operations, guiding colleagues and driving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements.
Main responsibilities:
Coordinate and support the daily work of the Flight Sales Accounting team
Guide team members in resolving accounting exceptions and operational issues
Participate in month-end closing activities and ensure timely completion of reporting tasks
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for stakeholders
Monitor workflow and support resource planning together with the Team Lead
Mentor new colleagues and provide ongoing support and knowledge sharing within the team
Review, update, and develop work instructions and process documentation
Contribute to process improvements and participate in development projects related to flight sales accounting and finance operations.
You will succeed if you have:
Experience in accounting, finance or a related field
A vocational qualification or Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, or a similar discipline
Strong attention to detail and a structured way of working
The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience supporting, coaching or guiding colleagues
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Confidence working with financial and IT systems and the ability to learn new tools quickly
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.
