Supplier Quality Engineer

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to support supplier quality management, audits and continuous improvement activities for electronics and build a strong foundation across both technical and procurement functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct and support supplier quality audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and company requirements.
• Involved in new supplier qualification and introduction of new components/products.
• Support the qualification, evaluation and ongoing performance monitoring of suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers to identify, investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and ensure timely closure of quality issues.
• Review supplier quality documentation, processes and inspection standards.
• Support incoming quality issues and work with internal teams to identify root causes and implement improvements.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and maintain relevant quality records and reports.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing and other internal teams on supplier-related quality matters.
• Assist in supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3 years of working experience in supplier quality, quality engineering, manufacturing or a related environment.
• Exposure to electronics/electrical components, PCBA, plastics or other manufactured components.
• Basic understanding of quality tools, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Comfortable working with suppliers and conducting or supporting supplier audits.
