Job Summary Responsible for preparing and mixing detergent and cosmetic formulations according to approved formulations and production procedures, ensuring consistency, quality, safety, and efficient use of raw materials. The Mixing Chemist will also operate and monitor the RO water treatment unit and maintain accurate production records.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and mix batches according to approved formulations, production instructions, and required quantities.

Weigh and add raw materials accurately while following the correct sequence of addition, mixing time, temperature, and mixing speed.

Monitor the mixing process and ensure batches meet the required specifications before transfer to the next production stage.

Identify and report abnormalities, deviations, or quality issues during the mixing process.

Operate, monitor, and perform routine checks on the RO water treatment unit, ensuring the required water quality and availability for production.

Maintain accurate records of raw material consumption, batch quantities, production parameters, and batch results.

Ensure proper cleaning and housekeeping of mixing tanks, equipment, tools, and the production area.

Follow all SOPs, GMP requirements, chemical handling procedures, and HSE regulations.

Coordinate with Quality Control, Production, Warehouse, and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production operations.

Assist in investigating batch deviations and support corrective actions when required.

Support the development, testing, and scale-up of new or modified formulations when required.

Ensure chemicals are handled, stored, and used according to their specifications and safety requirements.

BSc. in Chemistry or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years of experience in detergents, cosmetics, personal care, or related chemical manufacturing.

Practical experience in batch preparation and mixing operations.

Practical experience in operating and monitoring RO water treatment units.

Good understanding of chemical raw materials, formulations, and mixing processes.

Good knowledge of GMP, chemical handling, and workplace safety.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
