FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established engineering business with the recruitment of a Sales Engineer.

Permanent, full-time position based in Glasgow .

£35,000 – £40,000, depending on experience + company car / car allowance + additional benefits

Develop new business opportunities across industrial and engineering markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
Understand customer specifications and recommend suitable technical solutions
Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to identify the best equipment options
Provide product knowledge and technical support to customers
Manage customer accounts from initial enquiry through to order completion
Work closely with internal teams to achieve sales and business growth targets
Support projects across sectors including manufacturing, quarries, oil & gas, biomass and food & beverage
Identify opportunities to increase sales across the region

Previous experience within technical sales, engineering sales, business development or account management
Strong mechanical engineering knowledge
Good understanding of rotating equipment such as motors, geared motors, pumps or similar equipment would be advantageous
Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach
Confident preparing proposals and presenting technical solutions
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Mechanical Engineering qualification or similar would be advantageous
Experience selling into industrial or manufacturing environments would be beneficial
Full UK driving licence preferred
