Sales Designer

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established bespoke furniture business with the recruitment of a Sales Designer .

Permanent, full-time position based in Leicester , with occasional travel to customers’ homes and the company’s workshop.

Salary

£30,000 – £45,000, depending on experience + commission on customer projects

Key Responsibilities

• Meet customers in the showroom and discuss their furniture and design requirements.
• Carry out home visits to understand spaces, measurements and individual project needs.
• Create attractive and functional bespoke furniture designs using SketchUp.
• Provide customers with design advice and guide them through available options.
• Develop strong relationships with customers from initial enquiry through to project completion.
• Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are accurate and achievable.
• Attend project meetings and monitor progress throughout the manufacturing process.
• Manage project documentation and maintain accurate customer records.
• Support post-sale administration, payments and invoicing.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the entire process.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within furniture design, kitchen design, interior design or a similar sales/design role.
• Confident using SketchUp or similar design software.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Commercially minded with the confidence to convert enquiries into sales.
• Passion for design with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working directly with customers in their homes.
• Experience with Enscape or similar visualisation software would be advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required.
