Lead Electrician

Join an established building services company as a Lead Electrician where you'll lead a dedicated team while advancing your electrical expertise.

FindCore are thrilled to be assisting an established building services and facilities management business with the recruitment of a Lead Electrician .

Permanent, full-time position based in Cardiff , with regular travel to client sites as required.

Salary

Negotiable, depending on experience + additional benefits + company vehicle & fuel card

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a two-person electrical team across planned and reactive maintenance works
• Carry out electrical fault finding, repairs and general maintenance
• Complete electrical testing, inspection and certification
• Undertake remedial works and minor electrical installations
• Diagnose faults and ensure issues are resolved efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements
• Complete relevant job sheets, test certificates and maintenance documentation
• Liaise professionally with site teams and client representatives
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service

Skills & Experience

• Qualified Electrician with strong maintenance and fault-finding experience
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Testing & Inspection qualification such as 2391 or equivalent required
• Previous service, maintenance or facilities management experience would be advantageous
• Comfortable taking the lead within a small electrical team
• ECS or CSCS card
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
