Building Surveying Manager

We’re recruiting for two permanent Building Surveying Managers to join a public sector housing team, leading surveying professionals and overseeing significant maintenance, refurbishment and capital improvement programmes.

The role will involve:

• Leading and developing a team of surveying and technical professionals
• Managing complex building projects, contracts, budgets and programmes
• Overseeing planned maintenance, repairs and capital works
• Managing contractors, procurement, quality, compliance and health & safety
• Providing technical advice to senior stakeholders
• Supporting service improvement, policy and strategy

About you...

You’ll have substantial post-qualification experience in building surveying, with proven experience of team leadership, project and contract management.

A relevant building surveying qualification is essential, along with strong knowledge of building regulations, health & safety and contract management.

Local authority, housing association or RSL experience would be advantageous.
