We combine the dynamics of a growing company with the complexity of a bank-regulated environment and offer you the opportunity to work on diverse legal issues with a direct business connection and to actively help shape them. In doing so, we will support you on your way to qualification as an in-house counsel (Syndikusrechtsanwalt). Legal areas Corporate, banking and capital markets, banking supervision, contract and securities law

Basic understanding of compliance requirements, especially in the financial market

Basic knowledge of tax, accounting, antitrust and competition law

Your task Accompany banking supervision: Advising specialist departments on regulatory issues and supporting the implementation of regulatory requirements

Implement securities law: Legal review and accompaniment of securities law topics as well as support for regulatory projects

Draft and review contracts: Creation, review and negotiation of contracts as well as advice on general contract law issues

Support regulatory processes: Legal accompaniment of governance, compliance and documentation processes

Accompany corporate development: Legal support for the future development of the corporate group

Manage interfaces: Cooperation with specialist departments and communication with supervisory authorities, auditors and external consultants on legal and regulatory issues

You are a fully qualified lawyer (m/f/d) with at least satisfactory state examinations and possess at least four years of relevant practical experience in the mentioned legal areas and fields of activity, preferably in a banking or brokerage environment.

You have business fluent English skills and can communicate complex legal matters clearly and understandably, even to international and non-legal interlocutors.

You are interested in banking and finance and enjoy combining legal issues with a good understanding of economic and strategic contexts.

You are solution-oriented and pragmatic: You do not want to just point out legal risks, but want to develop viable and practical solutions together with the specialist departments.

You enjoy building structures, designing processes and driving things forward. In doing so, you bring initiative and have a good sense of when clear specifications and when creative solution approaches are required.

You are a team player and enjoy working in a small, highly qualified team of fully qualified lawyers with different professional focuses. At the same time, you can take over topics independently from the start and drive them forward responsibly.

You convince through a constructive and positive attitude. Even in a dynamic environment, you maintain an overview, approach challenges in a solution-oriented manner and succeed in winning others over to new structures and common solutions.

You communicate confidently, reliably and at eye level – both with lawyers and with colleagues from finance, compliance and other specialist departments as well as with management, committees and external consultants.

You think creatively and entrepreneurially and enjoy thinking beyond the classic legal perspective and actively helping to shape the development of the corporate group.
