For the Mainframe business unit, MF DB/DC Systeme division, MF IMS and CICS department, we are looking for the earliest possible date for the Hannover or Münster location for a

Department Head Mainframe IMS and CICS (m/f/d).

Your tasks:

• Performance of leadership tasks within the framework of technical and disciplinary leadership of the department (employee appraisals, goal setting and goal controlling, coaching, personnel development)
• Responsible execution of task, resource, and budget planning for the department in accordance with the company, business unit, and division strategy as well as the agreed goals
• Support of the division manager in operational and strategic tasks
• Effective deployment and management of the department's employees
• Conception, planning, installation, configuration, and fault-free operation for software components on the z-platform as well as further development of the Mainframe transaction monitors (currently IMS and CICS) and the various monitoring and administration tools on the Mainframe
• Provision, maintenance, and support of performance analysis tools on the z/OS platform

Your profile:

• Completed studies in Informatik or comparable knowledge in the IT communication environment
• Ideally several years of professional experience in the mentioned specialist areas
• Strong leadership qualities as well as entrepreneurial thinking and action
• High communication and coordination skills, teamwork, and social competence in dealing with a wide variety of interlocutors
• Strong goal orientation, high assertiveness, and conflict management skills
• High degree of personal responsibility and initiative as well as high resilience and willingness for occasional travel
• Good English skills
