Role Overview

Filos Community Services is seeking a volunteer Senior Executive / Assistant Manager to join our Community Engagement department. You will support the Manager in managing the full scope of volunteer management for Filos and our corporate partners through the Volunteer Centre @ Bedok.

Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Management

  • Oversee the volunteer lifecycle: recruitment, screening, onboarding, training, deployment, and recognition
  • Coordinate volunteer deployment across Filos programmes and Volunteer Centre @ Bedok initiatives
  • Guide, mentor, and support volunteer leaders and teams
  • Track volunteer hours, retention, and feedback, and report insights to management

Corporate Partnership Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for corporate partners, managing expectations from first engagement through post-event review
  • Plan and deliver corporate volunteering activities aligned with each partner's CSR objectives and Filos's beneficiary needs
  • Conduct briefings, partner meetings, and stakeholder updates with professionalism and poise
  • Support partnership proposals, impact reporting, and stewardship to encourage repeat and deepened engagement

Programme & Event Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate volunteer-driven programmes, community events, and corporate service days
  • Manage timelines, logistics, and on-ground execution with staff and partners

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure volunteer activities comply with Filos policies, the Charities Act, and the PDPA
  • Uphold safeguarding standards for vulnerable beneficiaries
  • Maintain accurate volunteer and partner records

Representation & Strategic Support

  • Represent Filos and the Volunteer Centre @ Bedok at meetings, events, and community platforms Contribute ideas to strengthen volunteer engagement and corporate partnership models

Requirements

Education

  • Degree holder in any discipline (Social Sciences, Business, Communications, or Social Work preferred)

Experience

  • Preferably 5 years of volunteerism experience , ideally including team lead, committee, or project coordination roles
  • Experience working with corporate partners or CSR programmes is an advantage
  • Prior exposure to the Singapore non-profit or social service sector is an advantage

Skills & Attributes

  • Articulate and professional, with strong written and verbal communication
  • Confident in managing corporate partners, including engaging senior stakeholders and handling expectations with tact
  • Strong organisational, planning, and project coordination skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage volunteers of diverse backgrounds
  • Sound judgment, discretion, and sensitivity when working with vulnerable communities
  • Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace; familiarity with volunteer management or CRM platforms is a plus
