Engineering Specialist

Responsibility for the setup, maintenance, and optimization of Bills of Materials (BOM), identifying alternatives for components and raw materials, product pricing, and providing engineering support to the Development, Procurement, and Production departments, while improving material efficiency and availability.

Responsibilities

• Setup, updating, and maintenance of Bills of Materials (BOM) in the ERP system.
• Preparing BOMs for the transition from development to production.
• Identifying alternatives for components and raw materials in accordance with engineering requirements.
• Working with suppliers and procurement to find available and cost-effective alternatives.
• Working with the Development, Production, Procurement, and Operations departments.
• Executing engineering changes (ECO/ECN) and updating BOMs accordingly.
• Controlling the accuracy of product data in information systems.
• Preparing reports and analyses for management decision-making.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering Technician - Mandatory.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in the industry.
• Proven experience in preparing and managing Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Experience working with ERP systems (Priority - significant advantage).
• Full proficiency in Excel.
• Experience in reading mechanical drawings and assemblies.
• Experience working with suppliers and procurement - Advantage.
• Good level of English.
