Field Technician — Telecom/PON (RJ)

Responsibilities and Attributions Perform installations and repairs of fiber optic services (FTTH); Configure equipment such as ONTs, routers, and modems; Execute functionality and service quality tests; Assist customers with cordiality and professionalism; Comply with productivity, quality, and project SLA indicators; Correctly use the equipment, tools, and EPIs provided by the company; Register activities in Claro's operating systems. Requisites and Qualifications High School completed; Advanced English (written and spoken communication); Valid category B driver's license (desirable); Availability for field work; Experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance; Previous experience in after-sales for internet service providers (ISPs), telecom operators, or telecommunications equipment suppliers; Good customer relationship skills, preferably with an ISP customer base or experience managing long-term relationships; Communicative profile, with the ability to talk to customers in person and recommend equipment and maintenance services; Practical experience with the operation and maintenance of PON networks, including knowledge of GPON/XG(S)-PON architectures and broadband access technologies; Knowledge of telecommunications and network equipment; Advanced English (written and spoken communication); Ease of learning, adaptation to new technologies, and availability for travel when necessary.
