automotive service technician apprentice

FFUN Chevrolet Yorkton is looking for a motivated Apprentice Automotive Service Technician who is ready to build their skills and grow their career. Whether you're a registered apprentice or have hands-on automotive experience and are ready to pursue your trade certification, we want to hear from you!

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Perform repairs under the guidance of Journeyperson Technicians
• Complete oil changes, tire services, inspections and routine maintenance
• Assist with diagnosing mechanical, electrical and vehicle performance concerns
• Complete work accurately and according to manufacturer standards
• Follow all workplace safety requirements and use required PPE
• Participate in training and apprenticeship development
• Work with Service and Parts to provide a great customer experience

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Registered Automotive Service Technician Apprentice OR relevant automotive experience with a desire to pursue the trade
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented
• Valid Class 5 driver's licence and acceptable driving record
• Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. as an essential requirement of the position
• Willingness to complete a satisfactory criminal record check
