Divisional Manager Export Compliance / Head of Export Control (m/f/d) (up to 80% depending on place of residence)

As Divisional Manager Export Compliance (m/f/d), you will hold an important key function in the Customs and International Trade area. You will ensure that all export control and foreign trade regulations are complied with within the company and establish corresponding changes at the national and international locations of the bilstein group.

Area of activity

• Disciplinary and technical management of the Export Control department at the Ennepetal location, as well as setting group-wide standards and guidelines for foreign trade law requirements
• Monitoring relevant legal changes and providing advice and training to the relevant departments (national and international)
• Continuous optimization and digitalization of foreign trade law processes for the efficient implementation of legal requirements
• Coordination with BAFA / permit management
• Ensuring the effectiveness of an internal control system (IKS) for foreign trade law requirements through regular controls, audits, and monitoring measures

Skills

• Sound leadership experience and you have already successfully led a team
• Comprehensive specialist knowledge in export control and foreign trade law, including national and EU law regulations as well as relevant international regulatory frameworks and their impact on global business processes
• Sound professional experience in the creation and legal assessment of foreign trade law contracts and regulatory frameworks
• Proficient in the monitoring and management of export compliance processes
• Willingness to travel for occasional appointments at our German and international locations, as well as English skills that enable you to communicate fluently
• Ideally experience with SAP GTS
