Strategic Buyer Energy (m/f/d)

This will be your job in the future

• Development and implementation of tender and award strategies in close coordination with Category Management for complex onshore large-scale projects
• Independent execution of national and Europe-wide award procedures according to the Sektorenverordnung - including tenders with contract volumes in the high triple-digit million range
• Analysis and active management of national and international supplier markets with a focus on energy and infrastructure projects
• Creation and coordination of project-specific requirement, procurement, and tender planning
• Preparation, execution, and follow-up of award, contract, and supplementary negotiations
• Independent management of the entire ordering process in SAP S/4HANA (tender, quotation evaluation, order, documentation)
• Functioning as a central point of contact for procurement topics within the project team as well as close interface coordination, e.g., with Claim Management and commercial project management
• Active participation in compliance with work, process, and compliance standards in all purchasing activities

What you bring with you

• Completed degree in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification
• Ideally several years of professional experience in project procurement for complex investment projects, preferably in the energy industry or infrastructure environment
• Sound knowledge of SAP S/4HANA as well as proficient use of MS-Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience in conducting Europe-wide tender procedures according to the Sektorenverordnung (SektVO)
• Very good knowledge of contract and supplementary management, including the processing of contract disruptions and claims
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing for confident communication in an international environment
• Ideally proficient use of tender and auction portals, e.g., Tender, TED, Mercell, or comparable systems
