Your area of responsibility

• Execution of operational and strategic controlling with a focus on costs, results, and investments
• Preparation, analysis, and commentary of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements using SAP and LucaNet
• Budget planning, forecasting, and liquidity management with Excel and Power BI
• Development, control, and further development of relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) according to standardized reporting structures
• Responsibility for fixed asset accounting, including investment and profitability analyses in the ERP system
• Execution of inventory controlling as well as support for the inventory processes in close coordination with the warehouse management
• Collaboration with purchasing and production to identify cost-saving potential in material and process costs
• Continuous optimization of existing controlling and reporting processes, especially in the SAP-FI/CO environment
• Preparation of group reporting for the parent company, taking into account accounting standards according to IFRS and HGB
• Central interface for auditors, tax authorities, and internal specialist departments

What you bring with you

• Completed studies in business administration, finance, or a comparable course of study
• Practical professional experience in controlling, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Sound knowledge of financial accounting according to HGB; IFRS knowledge is an advantage
• Very confident handling of MS Excel as well as ideally experience with reporting and BI tools such as SAP BW or Power BI
• Application experience with common ERP systems, e.g., SAP R/3, Navision, or Infor LN
• Good knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes as well as in performing variance analyses according to common standards
• Experience in preparing investment calculations and business analyses
• Good English skills (at least B2 level)
