Specialist for Occupational Safety (m/f/d)

This will be your job in the future

• Further development of the occupational safety and health management system
• Taking over the tasks as a fire protection, water, and waste officer at the location
• Conducting training on occupational safety, fire protection, and first aid
• Advising managers on the implementation of legal regulations in occupational and health protection
• Organization of regular site inspections in cooperation with the company doctor
• Maintaining contact with authorities, professional associations (Berufsgenossenschaften), as well as looking after visitors from these areas
• Ensuring and monitoring safety instructions as well as risk assessments
• Maintenance of the hazardous substances register using suitable tools such as MS Excel or ERP systems (e.g., ProAlpha)
• Leading the meetings of the occupational safety committee in accordance with legal requirements

What you bring with you

• Master craftsman, technician, or completed studies as a (safety) engineer
• Completed training as a safety specialist
• Further training in fire protection and water protection desirable
• At least 2 years of professional experience
• Confident handling of MS-Office programs and possibly the ERP system (ProAlpha)
• Solution orientation and proactive action in all relevant matters and the ability to provide goal-oriented advice to management and executives
• Very good English skills
