Quality Manager New Product Development Automotive (m/f/d)

This will be your job in the future

• Collaboration in the core project team during the development of new Automotive Data Connector products
• Planning and implementation of quality pre-planning from project start to series maturity
• Selection of suppliers and approval of their production processes and products
• Evaluation and approval of prototype and purchased parts according to defined quality standards
• Support of international customers during audits for product and process approval
• Accompanying the relocation of products to series production sites worldwide
• Application of common Automotive QM Core Tools such as FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA or SPC
• Documentation of quality-relevant processes with systems such as SAP or CAQ software solutions

What you bring with you

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, production technology, or a comparable field
• Practical experience in the field of quality management in the automotive industry as well as in project management
• Sound knowledge of relevant standards such as VDA volumes or IATF16949 for automotive applications
• Experience with manufacturing processes e.g., plastic injection molding, stamping, bending, turning, or milling
• Proficient handling of methods for supplier selection and evaluation (e.g., auditing according to VDA)
• Application knowledge in QM Core Tools such as FMEA, MSA, SPC as well as CAQ systems (e.g., Babtec)
• Knowledge of the English language in spoken and written form at a technical level required
• International willingness to travel to support global projects and customers
