Product Manager (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility

• Responsible for compliance with the core processes of product management and continuous optimization of the assigned products in the BU Serv portfolio
• Analysis of developments in the customer and competitive environment in cooperation with the individual platforms
• Evaluation of the latest market innovations and identification of opportunities and risks
• Participation in the development of product strategies
• Monitoring product development and controlling further steps
• Participation in technical system design using existing design programs, including research of design conditions for standard and special systems
• Implementation of measures to improve presentation, changes in the quotation layout, and quotation creation
• Support in the coordination and creation of documentation for standard and special products
• Coordination with the Sales Parts departments regarding feasibility clarification as well as cost determination and clarification with supervisors
• Preparation of various market strategies in consultation with the Tech Products department
• Creation of KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the product portfolio, taking into account a lifecycle management approach

Your profile

• Completed engineering studies in the fields of mechanical engineering, plastics, production technology, or advanced training as Meister/Techniker
• Several years of professional experience and specialist knowledge, preferably in the field of the plastics industry (optimally BO-film industry), desirable
• Business-fluent English skills
• Structured way of working
• IT applications (MS-Office, SAP, special design programs) are an advantage
• Willingness for temporary domestic and international travel
• High customer orientation
• Teamwork skills and flexibility
