Software Developer (m/f/d) Embedded Systems

Your area of responsibility

• Development of complex software for crane systems according to current standards and guidelines
• Execution of software tests in simulation environments and directly on the crane
• Documentation of test results and system verifications
• Planning, implementation, and optimization of control algorithms
• Creation of models of mechanical systems with MATLAB/Simulink
• Integration of new functions into existing embedded system architectures
• Technical support for production regarding software topics
• Analysis, identification, and resolution of technical problems in the development process

What you bring with you

• Completed degree in engineering sciences, mechatronics, or computer science
• Sound knowledge of C as well as experience with MATLAB/Simulink
• Practice in dealing with software testing methods such as unit tests or HIL simulation
• Experience in modeling and simulation of mechanical systems
• Basic knowledge of Embedded Control Systems (e.g., real-time operating systems)
• Familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, or Jira
• Willingness to undertake international business trips
• Good English skills in speaking and writing
