Cloud Platform Engineer AI & Simulation (m/f/d)

Exciting Tasks

• Operation and administration of Kubernetes clusters with tools such as Ubuntu and Microk8s
• Construction, maintenance, and scaling of container orchestration environments
• Ensuring high availability as well as performing patch management
• Implementation and optimization of automated CI/CD pipelines with GitLab or similar tools
• Development and maintenance of GitOps-based deployment manifests for applications and infrastructure
• Automation of infrastructure using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, or comparable IaC tools
• Construction of a monitoring system for system supervision with Prometheus and Grafana
• Proactive performance optimization through comprehensive observability concepts
• Setup of a central logging system for error analysis and system diagnosis

Suitable Qualifications

• Completed studies in the field of computer science, engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in the operation of Kubernetes clusters in production environments
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Helm
• Practice in the construction of automated CI/CD pipelines, e.g., with GitLab
• Familiarity with concepts such as GitOps as well as versioning in Git repositories
• Experience in dealing with monitoring solutions such as Prometheus and Grafana
• Knowledge of logging technologies for central log evaluation
• Knowledge of high availability solutions in cloud environments
• English skills for working in international teams
