Software Developer (m/f/d) Autonomous Driving Freiburg

Exciting Tasks

• Conception and prototypical implementation of algorithms for the automation of mobile vehicles for environment recognition with ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Development and implementation of hardware-independent software function blocks for assistance systems with MATLAB/Simulink
• Recognition of objects in 3-D sensor data using Deep Learning
• Testing of algorithms
• Integration of the software into the hardware environment

What You Bring to the Table

• Completed studies in an engineering course, technical computer science, or comparable qualification, ideally with a focus on data processing for mobile, autonomous systems or robotics
• Initial professional and industry experience in the field of automation technology
• Extensive knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink as well as in the field of computer vision and Deep Learning
• Ideally initial experience with the framework ROS and e.g. C++
• Good English skills in spoken and written form
