Your area of responsibility

  • Carrying out obsolescence assessments for telemetry and flight termination assemblies as well as developing solutions for obsolescence remediation
  • Procurement of required components in cooperation with purchasing
  • Assembly, integration, and commissioning of data telemetry and flight termination assemblies including technical documentation
  • Assembly of safety-critical redundant power supplies taking into account applicable requirements
  • Application and adaptation of testing, verification, and qualification regulations as well as carrying out acceptances and qualifications
  • Accompanying system integration tests and flight tests as well as close cooperation with mechanics, software, quality, purchasing, and system engineering

Your profile

  • Completed vocational training in the field of communications engineering or electrical engineering with corresponding additional qualification
  • Experience in dealing with wireless transmission systems, ideally in safety-critical applications
  • Sound knowledge in the integration and assembly of high-frequency and electronic assemblies
  • Knowledge in technical documentation, formal verification, as well as ideally experience with safety-critical systems
  • Good English skills as well as a structured, analytical, and careful way of working with a high awareness of quality
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, sense of responsibility, independent way of working, and willingness to travel
