System Engineer (m/f/d) at AIRBUS
Your area of responsibility
- Analysis and derivation of system and design requirements for avionics and Electronic-Warfare systems
- Definition and maintenance of requirements for Ground-Support systems and test environments
- Creation of technical specifications as well as test and maintenance documentation
- Support in integration, test, and qualification of RIG/Lab systems
- Development of concepts and prototypes for sensor functions, image processing, or algorithms
- Execution of system tests and performance analyses in the laboratory environment
- Cooperation with customers and partners, including occasional travel

Your profile
- Completed studies in Elektrotechnik, Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik, Informatik, or a comparable field
- Experience as a Systems Engineer (m/f/d), ideally in the IV&V phase as well as Integration Testing at the Rig/Lab level
- Knowledge of Electronic-Warfare systems and avionics (e.g., Eurofighter, NH90, Tornado, drone systems) is an advantage
- Confident handling of MS Office; tools such as DOORS, Jira, Confluence are desirable
- Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python or C/C++) as well as automated test tools and version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of standards (ARP4754A, DO-178C) and Requirement Engineering is an advantage
- Very good English skills in speaking and writing, good German skills are desirable
