Procurement Manager (m/w/d)

Introduction

As a successful and rapidly expanding construction company within the eps Group, FEPS GmbH has been offering a wide range of exciting and innovative construction and infrastructure services worldwide for more than 25 years. Whether to support defence forces, for rapid disaster response, or for construction projects off the beaten track. We plan, build, and operate camps and temporary infrastructure. In doing so, we manage camp infrastructure, including power generation, water supply, and sanitation in a wide variety of environments. For our current project across Germany, we are in urgent need of a Procurement Manager for the strategic management of procurement to ensure that all necessary goods are available in a cost-effective manner and meet quality standards.

Tasks

Monitoring and managing all phases of the procurement process Preparing documentation regarding upcoming purchases, delivery dates, and quantities Strategic planning and needs analysis: Developing procurement strategies Supplier management: Identifying, evaluating, and selecting new suppliers, as well as maintaining and developing existing supplier relationships. Negotiation and contract management: Conducting price and contract negotiations to secure optimal terms in terms of cost, quality, and on-time delivery. Risk management: Proactively identifying risks in the supply chain Collaborating with internal stakeholders from various departments

Profile

Completed degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a similar degree At least 5 years of experience in procurement Good experience in the negotiation of prices and contracts Experience in the procurement of construction materials Proficient English knowledge in speaking and writing needed Good German or Lithuanian language skills are a plus Good experience with the usage of ERP systems and Microsoft Office Driver’s license is a plus Good analytical, negotiation and communication skills Talent for problem solving and organisation
