Executive Driver

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation is a world-renowned brand with offices around the globe. A Fender is more than an instrument; it is a cultural symbol that resonates on a global level. We are looking for a Driver to join our team in Ensenada, Mexico.

This position is responsible for providing safe, punctual, and professional transportation services in support of company operations, employees, visitors, and business activities. The Driver ensures the safe transport of personnel, documents, materials, and company assets, while maintaining company vehicles in excellent operating condition and providing exceptional customer service.

Essential functions:

• Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety requirements.
• Transport employees, visitors, executives, and guests to and from designated locations, as needed.
• Perform local and cross-border trips between Mexico and the United States to support business operations.
• Deliver and pick up documents, packages, supplies, and other company materials in a timely and safe manner.
• Support company events, meetings, and special projects through transportation services and logistical assistance.
• Coordinate urgent transportation needs, including the transfer of critical materials, supplies, or equipment.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and immediately report any maintenance, repair, or safety-related needs.
• Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicles to ensure reliable and safe operation.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Plan efficient routes and travel schedules to optimize transit times and support business priorities.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle use, mileage, maintenance activities, and fuel consumption.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a driver, messenger, in transportation, or in a similar position.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Ability to travel across the border between Mexico and the United States and maintain all required travel documentation.
• Knowledge of traffic regulations, vehicle safety practices, and defensive driving techniques.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and schedules.
• Customer service orientation, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable, professional, punctual person capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
• Schedule flexibility and availability to meet business needs, including occasional travel or transportation services outside of regular working hours.
• Basic verbal and written English skills.
