Major duties

Serving as a Program Analyst GS-0343-9 makes you a valuable member of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) team and mission. This position is located in the Mission and Readiness Support Directorate (MRSD), in Glynco, GA. The primary purpose of this position is to assist in a variety of complex and sensitive managerial and administrative matters essential to the organization's efficient operations Typical duties include: Researching and analyzing data to support responses to administrative or program inquiries. Reviewing documents, correspondence, reports, tables, charts, or briefing materials for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with policy. Coordinating action assignments, suspense dates, meetings, conferences, and follow-up activities. Serving as a liaison with staff, management officials, partner organizations, or other agencies to gather information and resolve administrative issues. Developing or maintaining automated tracking systems, workflow tools, records systems, SharePoint sites, or intranet content. Preparing briefing materials, presentations, reports, meeting materials, or other program support documents. Recommending improvements to administrative procedures, office workflows, records management, forms, or reporting processes. Specialized experience includes researching, analyzing, and compiling information to assess administrative or program issues; reviewing correspondence, reports, briefing materials, or other documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established procedures; coordinating responses, action items, meetings, and deadlines among internal and external stakeholders; maintaining automated tracking systems, records, calendars, or workflow tools; and recommending improvements to administrative processes, procedures, records management, or web-based systems such as SharePoint or intranet sites. OR Have successfully completed a master's or equivalent graduate degree. OR Have successfully completed two full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree. OR Have successfully completed an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled. OR Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. Your percentage of the required education plus your percentage of the required experience must equal 100%.
