Mobile After-Sales Service Technician (M/F)

I am Jeremy, a recruitment consultant for FED Engineering, and I am looking for a Mobile After-Sales Service Technician (M/F) for my client, specialized in the sale and after-sales service of machines intended for the TP and drilling sectors, to operate in the northern half of France. This is a permanent contract (CDI), based near Les Ulis (91).

Reporting to the Technical Coordinator, who will ensure integration, training, and daily technical support.

As a Mobile After-Sales Service Technician, you will ensure the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment directly at customer sites.

Your missions will be as follows:

Maintenance and troubleshooting

• Prepare new and used machines before commissioning.
• Perform diagnostics of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
• Carry out preventive and curative maintenance operations.
• Perform repairs on-site at the customer's location as well as in the workshop when necessary.
• Ensure commissioning and functional checks.
• Guarantee compliance with contractual commitments and intervention deadlines.

Organization of interventions

• Prepare interventions autonomously:

o identification of necessary parts, o organization of travel, o booking of overnight stays if needed, o contacting the customer.

• Ensure daily reporting of interventions via the ERP and the shared planning.
• Write intervention reports and transmit necessary information to the various departments.

Client relations

• Be the preferred technical contact for customers.
• Advise users on the use and maintenance of equipment.
• Guarantee a high level of service quality and represent the company's image.

Additional missions

• Participate in workshop activities.
• Provide technical support to internal teams.
• Participate in the preparation of price quotes related to interventions.
• Accompany and train new technicians.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
• Participate in technical training in the Netherlands and the United States (1 to 2 trips per year).

Training

• Bac Professionnel or BTS in Industrial Maintenance, Equipment Maintenance, Electromechanics, or equivalent.

Technical skills You have solid skills in:

• mechanics,
• hydraulics,
• electricity,
• fault diagnosis.

Knowledge of diesel engines is a real asset.

Languages

• Technical English allowing you to read documentation, communicate with factories, and follow training.

IT

• Good mastery of IT tools and an ERP.

License

• Driving license B indispensable.
