Payroll Manager - temporary mission - M/F
About the company
We are recruiting for an industrial group operating in an international environment, located in Jonage (69). As part of a temporary replacement, you will join a structured organization composed of several legal entities and facing challenges in harmonizing its HR practices. You will work in close connection with the Human Resources Department, sector HR managers, and operational managers.
Your tasks
Reporting to the DRH, you will manage the payroll and personnel administration for a scope of 800 employees spread across several different entities, encompassing two distinct CCN.
- Payroll: supervise and secure the production of 800 payrolls, control data, and guarantee compliance with legal and collective agreement deadlines.
- Priority project: harmonize and simplify the payroll regulations of the 2 entities, identify discrepancies, and evolve management rules without losing the specificities unique to each population.
- SIRH / GTA: ensure the reliability of data and processing circuits, optimize tools and settings, particularly on Workday and time management solutions.
- Personnel administration: supervise contracts, amendments, entries-exits, mandatory declarations, and social schemes, in connection with the RRH.
- Management: organize the activity of the 3 managers, distribute priorities, and support the resolution of technical issues.
- HR Expertise: advise RRH and managers, perform remuneration simulations, and produce the indicators necessary for social steering.
The challenge: maintain reliable payroll for 800 employees while advancing a concrete project of simplifying regulations, within an international industrial and commercial environment.
This mission is intended for a Payroll Manager who is quickly operational and wishes to combine production security, team management, and a concrete project for improving payroll processes.
Requirements
You have higher education at a Bac +4/5 level in human resources, payroll, social law, or personnel administration, as well as confirmed experience in payroll management and steering. Ideally, you have evolved in an industrial environment with populations subject to shift work, and you understand the challenges related to the coexistence of several payroll regulations. Complementary experience in a commercial environment is an asset. You master payroll mechanisms, GTA, and SIRH tools. Knowledge of Workday and Décidium will be particularly appreciated. You are comfortable with Excel and digital tools, and know how to analyze complex management rules to identify paths for simplification.
Beyond technical mastery, you are capable of taking a step back from existing processes, structuring an improvement project, and advancing topics with various interlocutors. Experience in harmonizing regulations, improving process reliability, or evolving payroll tools would be particularly relevant. You also have solid initial experience in management or team steering. Your approach is rigorous, pragmatic, and collaborative: you know how to prioritize, make decisions, and support teams through changes.
Finally, you are comfortable in an international and matrix context. A good level of English, both written and spoken, is indispensable for participating in exchanges and meetings with the relevant interlocutors.
