Chemical and Pharmaceutical Process Industrialization Manager (M/F)

Job Description:

Julien, Consultant at Fed Ingénierie in Île-de-France, is looking for an Industrial Transposition & Process Optimization Manager in a permanent contract (CDI), based in the Oulins (28) area, for his client, an international group specializing in innovative ingredients for the cosmetics, pharmacy, nutrition, and biotechnology sectors.

As Industrial Transposition Manager, you will lead industrialization projects for new processes, optimize the performance of existing processes, and support teams in the continuous improvement of production facilities. Your main missions: Industrialization of new processes Ensuring the interface between R&D and Production teams during the transition from pilot to industrial scale.

• Lead the industrial transposition of new manufacturing processes.
• Manage industrialization projects for new products while guaranteeing quality, cost, and deadline objectives.
• Participate in the validation of new raw materials in collaboration with the Purchasing department.

Optimization of industrial processes Analyzing manufacturing processes and identifying areas for improvement.

• Define and implement short, medium, and long-term optimization plans.
• Improve industrial performance in terms of quality, safety, costs, deadlines, and productivity.
• Propose technical solutions contributing to the reduction of the environmental footprint, and the improvement of safety and ergonomics.

Project management and continuous improvement Leading complex industrial projects in coordination with the various site departments.

• Utilize production data to ensure process reliability and support decision-making.
• Implement problem-solving methods and continuous improvement tools.
• Participate in the qualification and validation of new equipment and processes.

Technical coordination Collaborating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Laboratory, R&D, Marketing teams and other Group sites.

• Ensure technical exchanges with equipment and raw material suppliers.
• Write technical reports and ensure the follow-up of industrial projects.

Profile Description:

Holding an Engineering degree in Process Engineering, Biological Engineering, or a Master's in Industrial Biotechnologies; you have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position in an industrial environment.

• Solid knowledge of industrial processes, physico-chemistry, biochemistry, enzymology, analytical chemistry, or microbiology.
• Mastery of project management, data analysis, and problem-solving methods.
• Good knowledge of continuous improvement approaches and QSE frameworks.
• Good level of English, both written and spoken.
