Customer Quality Engineer (M/F)
Job Description:
Julien, Consultant at Fed Ingénierie in Île-de-France, is looking for a Quality Engineer (M/F) for his client, specializing in the design and production of technical and decorated plastic parts for the automotive sector, based in the Beaumont-sur-Oise (95260) area.
Reporting to the Quality Manager, you are an essential link in maintaining and improving the site's quality system. You will intervene in development quality, customer satisfaction, and supplier performance, within a demanding, certified industrial environment focused on operational excellence. Your missions: Product and Supplier Quality: Participate in the quality management of manufactured products and external supplies (components, services).
- Analyze CNQ (non-quality findings) and propose corrective and preventive actions.
- Implement, monitor, and improve internal quality procedures.
- Contribute to staff awareness and training on quality issues.
- Participate in the preparation of quality reporting for both suppliers and customers.
Customer Complaint Management: Receive and analyze customer complaints.
- Drive and validate corrective action plans (8D, PDCA, Ishikawa).
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding the progress and resolution of non-conformities.
- Ensure the follow-up of complaints within the specified deadlines.
- Participate in customer process audits and the follow-up of actions resulting from audits.
Development Quality: Develop and monitor the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) from the RFQ phase to the transfer to production.
- Identify and manage quality risks related to new products.
- Contribute to product development and the validation of initial samples.
Travel: 1 to 2 monthly trips (2-3 days) within the EU zone.
Profile Description:
With a background in Generalist Engineering or Plastics Engineering, you have a successful first experience in quality within a demanding industrial environment, ideally in the automotive sector. Technical Skills: Mastery of quality tools (8D, AMDEC, 5Why, Ishikawa, PDCA, QRQC).
- Good knowledge of plastic injection and assembly processes.
- Professional English is essential (regular exchanges with European customers).
- Knowledge of the PPAP process and automotive quality standards (IATF, ISO 9001).
Soft Skills: Rigor, analytical spirit, and attention to detail.
- Reactivity and the ability to work cross-functionally with production and customers.
- Good interpersonal skills, pedagogy, and team spirit.
- Proactive in a continuous improvement logic.
