EXPENSES CONTROLLER M/F

Within the Finance department, the International Controller will be integrated into the Group's community of country controllers. The team consists of two controllers dedicated to expenses, with a cross-functional scope.

Thus, your main responsibilities are as follows:

• You are the main point of contact for Group Top Management on all matters related to country expense control, covering Sales, Operations, Finance, and HR functions;
• You monitor and control general expenses as part of Forecast, Budget, and Plan exercises, as well as during closings and estimations, including variance analysis.
• You challenge general expenses and contribute to the performance management of the different Regions, in interaction with the main management functions;
• You draft and maintain Group guidelines regarding cost allocation, and propose / support process improvements;

To achieve these objectives, the International Controller must develop a cross-functional vision of activities across the different Regions:

• You challenge local stakeholders on cost analysis and optimization, at all levels of Business Units' activities;
• You understand the activity and strategic environment, and support / challenge local Top Management on all business issues;
• You contribute to decision-making and resource allocation for Group Top Management through high value-added analysis and reporting;
• You write clear, concise, and impactful notes and summaries.

With a higher education degree such as a Master's in accounting and management, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in international management control, ideally acquired in insurance or in a consulting firm. Knowledge of key Property & Casualty insurance concepts applied to general expenses would be appreciated. You are recognized for your strong decision-making, analysis, and problem-solving skills, as well as for your strategic and methodical mindset. Skills in data analytics and experience in deploying tools (Power BI, etc.) would be more than appreciated. Fluent English is imperative. Skills in artificial intelligence would be a plus.
