Director of Structured Finance (M/F)

We are recruiting for our Client, a major player in Finance (UEMOA), a Director of Structured Finance (M/F).

Position based in Abidjan.

You will report hierarchically to the General Management and functionally to the Holding, with the mission of defining and driving the Institution's structured finance strategy, in coherence with the Group's orientations.

Your activities, in this capacity, cover the following fields:

• Define and drive the Bank's structured finance strategy, in coherence with the Group's orientations and in close collaboration with the coverage teams of the subsidiaries and the structured finance officers.
• Develop complex financing structuring strategies through innovative solutions adapted to different market segments.
• Collaborate in the creation of structured and sustainable financial products meeting the specific needs of corporations and institutional investors.
• Ensure market development: strengthen synergies with other subsidiaries and departments of the group to maximize financing opportunities; develop solid partnerships with large groups and detect investment opportunities.
• Develop asset distribution capabilities with banks and other financial partners to optimize balance sheet management and risk sharing.
• Manage and supervise the team of structured finance officers to ensure optimal execution of transactions.
• Ensure proactive management of risks associated with projects, in close collaboration with the risk management and compliance teams.
• Ensure monitoring of the project pipe performance and propose necessary strategic or operational adjustments.
• Master's degree (Bac +5) in Finance, Economics, or Management + ideally a specialization in financial engineering or business law.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the banking sector, including 5 years in team management.
• Mastery of complex financing structuring mechanisms; advanced financial analysis; legal and regulatory knowledge; strong ability to argue, negotiate, and convince; proficiency in English and in financial modeling and risk monitoring tools.
• Good understanding of credit risk management mechanisms and Environmental & Social (E&S) risks; solid knowledge of financial instruments and UEMOA banking regulations.
