Accounting Controller (M/F)

FED FINANCE, a specialized recruitment firm, is looking for an Accounting Controller in a permanent contract (M/F) for a renowned banking institution.

You will join an international financial captive and hold the position of Accounting Controller. You will ensure accounting and reporting in GAAP and IFRS standards and manage the tax filings of the various companies.

In this capacity, your missions are as follows:

• Maintaining day-to-day accounting. Posting entries related to monthly accounting closings;
• Accounting consolidation in relation to the parent company: production of monthly financial reporting;
• Analysis of variations in accounts: explaining variations and addressing detected errors;
• Responding to questions from the Parent Company;
• Optimization and control of the various closing stages within the subsidiary and general accounting systems in order to correct anomalies;
• Calculation of deferred taxes for IFRS and German GAAP accounting;
• Monthly review and analysis of trial balance amounts;
• Ensuring the reliability of procedures;
• First-level control of the reports produced by the team;
• Participation in audits (internal, statutory auditors);
• Framework for the IFRS 9 Provisions portfolio and accounting reconciliation;
• Preparation and payment of various declarations/taxes/duties including the establishment of tax returns (social solidarity contribution, corporate tax, VAT, payroll taxes);
• Participation in the preparation of the tax return package;
• Monitoring changes in tax regulations and adapting declarations accordingly;
• Finally, you participate in projects and measure the impacts on the accounting and tax activity processes.

You have a Bac+3/4 degree and confirmed accounting experience within an international company for at least 5 years.

You have a perfect mastery of general accounting according to international, German, and French accounting standards (IFRS, French and German Gaap).

Your English level is operational. You can perfectly use it on a daily basis and in a financial context.
