Freight Forwarding Agent (M/F)

We are Fed Supply, a recruitment firm specializing in supply chain, transport, logistics, and import-export. We are recruiting for a client company an air freight forwarding agent who manages customs clearance and the international routing of goods.

The company and the position

• Position: air freight forwarding agent
• Location: Cornebarrieu
• Reason for recruitment: New position creation

Your missions

• Manage import/export customs formalities from end to end
• Track each shipment until final delivery
• Resolve disputes with carriers and customs or administrative blockages encountered en route
• Prepare import/export and transport documents: customs documents, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills, carnets TIR

Conditions and benefits

• Contract: CDI
• Remuneration: €30,000 to €40,000 gross per 12 months, depending on profile and experience.
• Quarterly bonuses.
• Work location: on-site, no remote work

Your profile

• You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in forwarding or international transport, with customs files managed autonomously.
• You hold a Bac +2 in international trade.
• You use Incoterms on a daily basis to know who does what between seller, buyer, and carrier.
• You work in English with foreign partners. Another language is a real plus.
• You master office tools to produce customs documents without error.
• You keep your cool when merchandise is blocked and seek a solution with the carrier and the client.
• You know how to defuse tensions to move a dispute forward.
• You manage several shipments in parallel without losing track.
