Industrial Buyer (M/F)

I am Kévin, Consultant at the Fed Supply office in Lognes, and I am currently assisting one of my clients in recruiting their future Junior Industrial Buyer on a CDI basis.
My client is a French industrial company, recognized for its technical expertise and operational excellence.
Your future environment
You will join a Purchasing team working in close collaboration with the Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Bureau d'Études, and Finance departments.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will participate in the management of a supplier portfolio and contribute to the overall performance of the Purchasing function in an industrial environment with a high technical dimension.
Your missions Supply Management
You guarantee the availability of components necessary for production.
Manage a supplier portfolio and ensure order follow-up. Manage acknowledgments of receipt, delivery times, and supplier reminders. Anticipate shortage risks and implement appropriate actions. Guarantee data reliability in the ERP. Purchasing Management
You support the purchasing strategy within your scope.
Identify risks related to the supplier panel. Prepare the necessary elements for negotiations (price, lead times, logistical conditions). Participate in securing the supply chain. Supplier Performance
You contribute to the continuous improvement of supplier performance.
Monitor performance indicators (quality, lead times, costs). Participate in the implementation of dashboards and KPIs. Contribute to performance reviews and supplier audits.

You hold a higher education degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Logistics (Bac +4/+5).
You have 2 to 4 years of initial experience in industrial purchasing or procurement, ideally in a technical environment.
You have an interest in mechanical products and master the fundamentals of flow management, procurement, and ERP, notably SAP.
Your English is operational, both written and spoken, to communicate with international suppliers.
Organized, rigorous, and possessing good analytical skills, you enjoy teamwork and know how to operate in an environment where priorities can change quickly.
