Industrial Buyer / Procurement Specialist (M/F)
Our client is an industrial SME of about forty employees, specializing in metallurgy. Experiencing strong growth, the company continues its development thanks to recognized expertise, high value-added technical projects, and a clear desire to structure its organization to support its ambitions.
In this context, it is creating the position of Industrial Buyer/Procurement Specialist at its Saint-Priest site.
Reporting to the Technical Director, you will progressively take responsibility for the entire purchasing and procurement function.
Your role will notably include:
- Defining and implementing the purchasing strategy (annual budget €4M).
- Managing production and non-production purchases (mechanical parts and sheet metal based on drawings, components, subcontracting, consumables, supplies, tooling, indirect purchases...).
- Selecting and developing a high-performing supplier panel.
- Negotiating commercial terms and formalizing partnerships.
- Managing and securing procurement.
- Anticipating production needs and guaranteeing component availability.
- Optimizing costs, lead times, and stock levels.
- Administering and ensuring data consistency in the ERP.
- Carrying out administrative operations related to purchasing and managing annual inventories.
- Managing disputes, non-conformities, and participating in supplier audits.
- Implementing management indicators and participating in the evolution of tools.
Beyond operational missions, you will actively participate in the structuring of the purchasing department and will be a proactive force in evolving methods and processes.

Holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree (Bac+3 to Bac+5), you have significant experience in industrial purchasing, ideally acquired within an SME or an environment where versatility, reactivity, and proximity to teams are essential.
You are comfortable in professional English, both written and spoken, in order to communicate effectively with international suppliers.
You enjoy being in the field, understanding technical issues, and working in direct connection with various departments.
You are recognized for your negotiation skills, your pragmatism, your organizational skills, and your ability to make decisions.
Package offered:
- Executive status (Cadre), 39h.
- €50 to €55K gross annual depending on experience + bonuses and regular increases.
- Evolvable position, with the possibility of growing the purchasing function at the pace of the company.
Contract: CDI Salary: 50000 to 55000 EUR per year
