Market Operations Back Office Manager (M/F)
About the company
I am Domitille d'Erceville, lead consultant at FED Finance - Finance de marché. I am looking for a FX-MM Derivatives Confirmations Back-office Manager for my client.
Your tasks
You will join the Market Operations Department, and more specifically the Back Office Derivatives, Treasury & Forex team. You will effectively and securely manage post-value date payment issues (funds not received or related to client requests). In close relationship with external and internal clients (Back, Middle, and Front-office teams), you must also identify potential risks in the processing chain, across all related functions, and escalate them to the appropriate departments to minimize costs.
- you manage payments received in error and/or rejected in the systems
- you are responsible for outstanding items / disputes with counterparties (banks, companies)
- you prepare interest claim files for late payments
- you identify operational areas for improvement (risk mitigation, STP, productivity gains)
- you draft and implement operational procedures to minimize risks.
Requirements
With specialized training in Banking/Finance/Management (Bachelor's degree or higher), you ideally possess initial experience (internship, temporary work, apprenticeship, fixed-term contract) in a similar position, ideally in forex / Money Market or more broadly in financial instruments (equities, bonds, derivatives).
Knowledge of legal contracts such as ISDA is a plus. You possess good knowledge of standard office tools. Your English level is operational due to daily use in an international context. Curious, efficient, autonomous, motivated, attracted to teamwork, and able to manage periods with tight deadlines, you are recognized for your good client relations (internal, external).

Other
The position is based in Guyancourt (78) on a campus that holds many surprises for you. This temporary mission, available immediately, lasts for 6 months and is potentially renewable. The fixed annual gross remuneration is between 38 and 45 K€ depending on the profile. A hybrid work model is planned, with a minimum of 2 days per week of teleworking after manager validation.
