Your tasks
Join Fearnleys’ expanding Dry Bulk team in Singapore as a Panamax/Supramax Shipbroker, leveraging your expertise to drive chartering success and contribute to global maritime operations.
- Execute Panamax and Supramax vessel chartering activities to secure profitable contracts and optimize fleet utilization
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to expand business opportunities and market presence
- Analyze market trends and vessel availability to provide strategic advice and timely recommendations to clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to negotiate terms and close chartering deals efficiently and effectively
- Demonstrate self-driven initiative and teamwork to contribute to the growth and success of the Dry Bulk team
- Maintain accurate records of chartering transactions and market intelligence for reporting and decision-making purposes
Requirements
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Shipbroker specializing in Panamax and Supramax chartering
- Degree or diploma in maritime-related subjects or ICS certification is advantageous
- Proven track record of successful chartering transactions in the Panamax/Supramax segment
- Positive attitude with strong motivation and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
