Missions Within the DRP and in close link with FCBA's project teams, you will guarantee the proper administrative and financial construction of collective projects and the large-scale projects led by the institute, as well as their monitoring in accordance with forecasts. You will notably be responsible for:

  • Supervising the administrative and financial setups of national and European projects, and more particularly:

  • Identifying eligible expenditure items in advance
  • Verifying funding rules
  • Controlling and validating financial setups
  • Verifying data entry in the document templates to be submitted
  • Planning and coordinating the stages of large projects, from the definition of objectives to final delivery
  • Ensuring the administrative and financial monitoring of European projects and large projects (financial statements, justifications, invoicing, interface with statutory auditors and European commissioners, monitoring of payments, reminders),
  • and notably:

  • Drafting consortium agreements and ensuring contracting with funders and partners
  • Ensuring expenditure monitoring and preparing justifications
  • Issuing invoices and monitoring the status of payments
  • Providing statutory auditors with the justification elements for project expenditures
  • Participating in consortium meetings during administrative and financial justification stages
  • Ensuring administrative and financial relations between the institute and the partners or funders of collective projects
  • Producing balance sheets and reports relating to a project portfolio, filling in dashboards, and preparing reports on collective activities
  • Supporting project managers in the use of project management tools.

Profile / Required Skills

With a Bac+5 education (business school, master's in project management), you have 5 to 8 years of successful experience in the setup and budgetary and financial monitoring of projects, within a national and European research context.

You master office tools as well as project management and monitoring tools. Knowledge of European (Horizon Europe, FEDER, etc.) and national funding mechanisms is necessary.

A good command of English is indispensable; the practice of other languages is an asset.

Travel is to be expected to Bordeaux (33) and in Europe.
