Internal Auditor

FC Noah is looking for an experienced Internal Auditor to lead risk-based audits, evaluate internal controls and compliance, and help identify and mitigate financial and operational risks across the club’s activities.

Lead and perform risk-based financial, operational, compliance, and process audits

Evaluate internal controls, governance practices, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements

Audit football-specific areas, including player transfers and contracts, agent fees, payroll and bonuses, academy operations, matchday activities, sponsorship revenue, procurement, inventory, and fixed assets

Review compliance with relevant FIFA, UEFA, HFF, and club-licensing requirements

Analyze financial and operational data to identify anomalies, control gaps, irregularities, and potential fraud risks

Prepare well-supported audit findings, recommendations, and clear internal audit reports

Communicate audit results to relevant stakeholders and obtain appropriate management action plans

Monitor the timely implementation of agreed corrective actions

Maintain complete and traceable audit working papers and supporting evidence

Contribute to the improvement of internal audit methodology and continuous-monitoring practices

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field

At least 5 years of relevant internal audit, external audit, financial control, or compliance experience, including experience in a senior role

Strong knowledge of internal controls, financial processes, risk-based auditing, and fraud risks

Experience in sports, football, or another regulated industry is an advantage

Knowledge of FIFA, UEFA, or HFF requirements is an advantage

CIA, ACCA, CPA, CISA, CFE, or another relevant certification is a plus

Advanced MS Excel and strong data-analysis skills

Strong analytical, report-writing, communication, and problem-solving skills

Fluency in Armenian and working proficiency in English

High level of independence, objectivity, confidentiality, and professional judgment
